Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: August 25, 2026

The Water Bus is committed to making our website accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

We believe that everyone should be able to access information about our services and contact our team without unnecessary barriers. We continue to review and improve the accessibility of our website as part of our ongoing website maintenance and improvement process.

Our Accessibility Approach

The Water Bus strives to provide a website that is clear, easy to navigate, and compatible with commonly used browsers, devices, and assistive technologies.

Where reasonably possible, we work to support accessibility by:

  • using clear headings and organized page structure;

  • providing meaningful text for links and buttons;

  • maintaining readable text and sufficient visual contrast where practical;

  • using images that support the content and providing alternative text where appropriate;

  • ensuring forms include clear labels and instructions;

  • making important information available in text rather than relying solely on images;

  • supporting keyboard navigation where possible; and

  • reviewing website updates with accessibility in mind.

Our website is built using Squarespace, which provides a range of accessibility features and tools. We also take reasonable steps within the platform to improve the accessibility of the content and pages we publish.

Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing process. As we add new services, photographs, forms, and website content, we make reasonable efforts to maintain or improve accessibility.

We recognize that some areas of the website may not yet be fully accessible to every visitor or every assistive technology. If we identify an accessibility issue, we will make reasonable efforts to address it as part of our website maintenance.

Third-Party Content

Some features or links on our website may connect visitors to third-party services, including Google Business Profile, Facebook, mapping services, or other external platforms.

These services are operated independently of The Water Bus and are subject to their own accessibility practices. While we aim to link to reputable services, we do not control the accessibility of third-party websites or applications.
